Thursday, 6 September 2018

Fr. Kevin Alban, O.Carm., the Prior Provincial of the British Province writes:

I am delighted to announce that Fr. Patrick Fitzgerald-Lombard, O.Carm., has been appointed by Bishop Richard Moth as parish priest of the parish of St. Thomas of Canterbury, Mayfield, Sussex.

This will be the first time that a Carmelite friar has served a parish in the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton.

Patrick will take up his appointment the weekend of 30th September 2018, and later there will be a Mass with the bishop to mark the beginning of the Carmelite association with this parish and Patrick's ministry there.

Prior to taking up his appointment in Mayfield, Patrick served as Parish Priest in Hay-on-Wye.
