Leeds CSG - All are welcome!
On
Sunday 20th May 2012 Leeds Carmelite Spirituality Group
will hold its monthly meeting, looking at the topic "The Carmelite Brown Scapular" with input from a speaker to be confirmed. The 'Brown Scapular' is a sacramental that is massively popular across the Church, but few people really understand its symbolism or origins in the Carmelite Order. We will explore its history and its meaning today.
Leeds Carmelite Spirituality Group (LCSG) offers a series of meetings
and events exploring Carmel's ancient spiritual tradition, and is open
to men and women of any Christian denomination or way of life interested
in exploring the Order's spirituality; an ancient path to God seeking
holiness in the everyday events of life. All are welcome!
There is no charge for attending meetings of the community; donations to defray the running costs of the group are welcome.
