Forthcoming Publications
Saint Albert's Press has a number of publications currently in production, including:
- Carmel
in Britain volume 5: a collection of essays from an academic symposium
held in York in 2003. Due for publication in 2012.
- The
proceedings of the first "Carmelite Forum of Britain & Ireland"
which focussed on the place of the Virgin Mary in Carmel. Anticipated
publication in late 2011.
- Carmel in Britain volume 6: a
collection of papers given in commemoration of the 800th anniversary of
the Carmelite Rule, celebrated in 2007. Due for publication in 2012.
- A modern English translation by Dr. Bryan Deschamps of John Baconthorpe's medieval Commentary on the Carmelite Rule, (being translated spring 2011).
- A modern English translation by Fr. Richard Copsey, O.Carm., of an an anonymous fifteenth-century Carmelite's Life of Saint Anne.
- Early Carmelite Documents, compiled and translated by Fr. Richard Copsey, O.Carm. Due for publication in 2012.
- A modern English translation by Fr. Richard Copsey, O.Carm., of the Anglorum Heliades
("The English Followers of Elijah") by the sixteenth-century
antiquarian John Bale, to be published in conjunction with the
Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies (PIMS).
- A series of popular booklets on various aspects of Carmelite spirituality.
